UKES is an experienced presenter of Workshops aimed at new and emerging small businesses. The company is currently presenting Business Planning Workshops on behalf of Business Link East as part of their Business Start-Up Services.

The Business Planning Workshop is a 1-day Workshop aimed at those who are looking to set up their own business and owner-managers of small businesses who have little or no experience of the business planning process.

The Workshop covers all aspects of putting together a concise and clear business plan and splits the process into 5 distinct areas: -

1. The Business Idea, covering description of product/service, name of business, legal status and Business Objectives
2. The People in the Business, covering the skils required to be successful in business and understanding your role in its success
3. The Marketing for the Business, covering the need for accurate Market Research, Customer Targetting, Pricing and the importance of effective Promotion
4. The Operational Details of the Business, covering the physica resources required to get the business up and running
5. The Financial Information of the Business, covering Profit & Loss and Cash Flow Forecasting and Sources of Finance
