E-commerce and having a web presence on the internet have never been so important to businesses of all types. Whether you are a one-person sole trader working from home, or if you are looking to run a global corporation, making sure that your web presence is impactful, useful and accurate are extremely important.

In this 21st Century every business, whether small or large, needs to have an Internet presence, even if their primary marketing effort is via more traditional methods. The internet has expanded out of all recognition in the last 10/15 years or so and you need to be part of it. All your competitiors will be there therefore so must you.

There are therefore 2 quite simple questions that you need to answer.

[1]-What kind of website is right for me? Your business image on a website tells people who don't know you and have never met you exactly who you are and what you do. Your website doesn't need to be complicated or flashy - in fact, it is better if it isn't. It is vital that visitors to your website can find what they want quickly and without too much searching. We all get bored so easily if we can't find what we want quickly. For instance too many graphics, images etc, on a page slow down loading the page considerably.

[2]-What if I want to sell my products online? This kind of web solution is right only for certain types of businesses - don't be mislead by a web developer telling you that you need a fully-functioning website with content management system and online credit card processing if you don't need it. A lot of business models will online require simple, clean and straightforward solution of a few pages, while other businesses will require something a little more functioning.

If you would like to talk to someone about your ideas for a website our specialist advisors will listen to you and what your business type is and then advise you with the best and most cost effective solution that's right for you.
